Configuring activity tags in AxisCare ensures that Zingage accurately tracks caregiver attendance and properly categorizes visit cancellations. This guide will walk you through the setup process step by step.

Overview

AxisCare uses modification reasons to track why visits are canceled or modified. Zingage needs to understand these codes to:

  • Properly track caregiver attendance goals

  • Distinguish between caregiver-caused cancellations and client-caused cancellations

  • Ensure fair reward attribution

Understanding the Two Categories

You'll see two columns for configuration:

  • Employee Cancellation Tags: Modification reasons that indicate the caregiver canceled or caused the visit issue

  • Client Cancellation Tags: Modification reasons that indicate the client canceled or caused the visit issue

Find Your AxisCare Modification Reasons

In your AxisCare system:

  1. Go to your Scheduling Report or Visit Verification section

  2. Look at the Modification Reasons column

  3. Identify which codes your agency uses for different cancellation types

Common examples include:

  • mv-caregiver (caregiver cancellation)

  • mv-client (client cancellation)

  • no-show

  • sick-call

  • emergency

Configure the Tags in Zingage

Important: Copy and paste the codes exactly as they appear in AxisCare, including:

  • Exact spelling and capitalization

  • Hyphens, underscores, or other punctuation

  • Spacing

Employee Cancellation Tags: Enter modification reasons that should count against the caregiver's attendance record, such as:

  • No call/no show situations

  • Caregiver-initiated cancellations

  • Caregiver sick calls (if you want these to affect attendance goals)

Client Cancellation Tags: Enter modification reasons that should NOT affect the caregiver's attendance record, such as:

  • Client-initiated cancellations

  • Client emergencies

  • Facility closures

Save and Verify

  1. Click Save Settings

  2. Wait for the next data sync (typically within 24 hours)

  3. Verify the configuration by checking Company > Visits to see if cancellations are being categorized correctly

Accessing This Configuration Later

While this setup is typically completed during your initial Zingage configuration, you can always return to modify these settings later. Simply navigate to Company > Connected Apps > Configure and select your AxisCare integration to make changes as needed.
