Deactivating an Employee's Account on Zingage

When employees leave your agency, you may wonder how their Zingage accounts are handled and whether they can still access their accumulated points after being deactivated in your agency management system. Let's explore:

When an employee is deactivated in your agency system, their Zingage account is automatically handled as follows:

  • Their Zingage account will be automatically deactivated 24 hours after their agency account deactivation

  • During the 24-hour period, they still maintain access to log in and redeem points

  • After being deactivated or offboarded, the user's account will retain a points balance but points are not used from the agency's wallet until a gift card is redeemed

  • The user is automatically removed from all associated employee groups

If you need to immediately prevent access to their Zingage account:

  1. You can manually pause their account. For instructions on how to pause an account, please refer to our video guide.

    1. This will immediately block their ability to access their account or use their points

    2. After 24 hours, the system will automatically update their account to an offboarded status
