Understanding Community Updates
Last updated: February 11, 2026
When caregivers redeem a gift card in Zingage, they may be presented with an AI-generated question called a Community Update. If they choose to answer this question, their response will be shared on the Company Feed for all members within the agency to see.
What are Community Updates?
Community Updates are optional AI-generated questions that appear during the gift card redemption process. Caregivers can choose whether or not to respond to these questions and if they choose to respond, their answers are public!
How are responses shared?
When a caregiver answers a Community Update question, their response becomes visible to everyone in the agency through the Employee Social Feed. This creates a shared community experience where team members can see updates from their colleagues.
Privacy considerations
It's important to be mindful of the information you share when responding to Community Update questions, as these responses will be visible to all agency members. Avoid sharing:
Sensitive client information
Personal details that should remain private
Any information that could have a potential negative impact
As a caregiver, you cannot edit and delete your response to the community update after redeeming your gift card. Be sure to keep your response respectful and compliant.
Can Community Update posts be removed?
If you need a Community Update post removed, you can contact the Zingage support team. While removal is possible, the process may take some time depending on the nature of the content and may not be removed before being seen by others.
Remember that Community Updates are designed to bring your caregiver community closer together and celebrate accomplishments, so consider how your response will contribute positively to the shared experience.
