Important Clarification

PayPal gift cards do not always auto-transfer into your PayPal account or balance. However, you can manually add any missing gift card:

You can automatically claim the PayPal gift card funds to your account by accessing the gift card link. Alternatively, you can manually add the gift card to your PayPal account.

You can find the details needed to add your gift cards by accessing the gift card links provided in your redemption confirmation. These links will contain the necessary information to complete the manual addition process.

How to manually add gift cards to PayPal

Follow these steps to add your gift cards to your PayPal account:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account and navigate to your wallet dashboard (available on both the website and PayPal app)

  2. Go to 'Payment Methods' and look for the option to add a card or bank account

  3. Select 'Add a Card'

  4. Set the gift card as your payment method

  • Go to Rewards / Store

  • Open your redeemed PayPal gift card

  • Copy card details
