Do gift cards expire?

Gift card expiration policies vary depending on the type of card you have.

Non-expiring gift cards

Some gift cards, such as Amazon, Burlington, and Walmart gift cards, do not have expiration dates and can be used indefinitely.

Gift cards with expiration dates

Other gift cards, like Visa gift cards, do have expiration dates, typically expiring 6 months after they are activated, and must be used before they expire.

How to check your gift card's expiration

To find out if your specific gift card expires, check the card page for the expiration date and other important information about your card. To access the gift card page, click the link in the email received when you redeemed the gift card. You can also access the card in Store > MNy Wallet and click the 🔗 icon next to the card on Zingage. This will provide you with the most accurate details for your particular gift card.
